Education Program
Forever Footprints provides education to the medical and business communities to improve the quality of care and response for families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, pregnancy loss, or infant death. Our organization has been an integral part in changing and/or evaluating the policies, procedures, and protocols in 18 area hospitals so families receive compassionate and comprehensive care. To date, we have educated nearly 2,000 social workers, nurses, physicians, therapists, hospital administrators, medical students, nursing students, and employees.

General Perinatal Education For Medical Professionals
Geared toward the medical community, the goal of these presentations is to improve the quality of care and response that families receive while experiencing perinatal loss. Covered topics include types of perinatal loss, grief, helpful communication, improving patient care, self-care, and a 15-minute Q&A session. Coping with Loss in the Workplace
Returning to work after infant or pregnancy loss can be extremely painful. While that pain cannot be taken away, employers and coworkers can make the transition back to work a little easier by knowing what to say, how to act, and what supports to offer. Covered topics include overview of pregnancy & infant loss, impacts of grief, what to say and what not to say to someone who has experienced loss, policies that support loss parents, resources, and Q&A. Forever Footprints was founded by Kristyn von Rotz after the loss of her first son, Joseph von Rotz.
